How do I replace my filter?

To replace your bobble Plus or Carry Cap (V2 Style) filter remove the mouthpiece and twist off the filter cage. Then you can remove and insert your carbon filter with the hole facing upwards. Align the arrows on the filter cage and mouthpiece to lock into place.

 

Can I use my bottle straight away?

Before first use, we would advise you to fill the bobble with cold water and gently squeeze the contents of the bottle through the filter to remove any possible carbon dust in your first rinse.

 

How often should I replace my bobble filter?

We recommend replacing your filter every 2 months, or every 180 litres of water.

 

Is my bobble bottle dishwasher safe?

Bobble Carry Cap is not dishwasher safe, we do recommend removing the filter and handwashing our bobble Carry Cap with warm soapy water. Bobble Plus is top-rack dishwasher safe, however, remove the filter before putting this in the dishwasher.

 

What is bobbleBox made from?

bobbleBox is made from high-quality PP (Polypropylene) with 1.8mm thick walls, which is about 25% thicker than regular food storage products.

 

Is bobbleBox recyclable?

Both the box and the gel pack are recyclable.

 

Is bobbleBox leak proof?

The silicone band and seal make the lunchbox leak resistant. (Not suitable for liquids such as soup).

 

Is it BPA and BPS free?

Yes, bobbleBox is BPA and BPS free.

 

How long will the ice pack stay cold?

Approximately 2 hours at room temperature.

 

Is my bobbleBox or icepack dishwasher or microwave safe?

Yes, bobbleBox is 100% dishwasher safe. Please use the top rack for best results. Microwave safe to +100 degrees. Care should be taken when using foods with strong colour such as turmeric or curry as these can stain, or high sugar content such as tomatoes as these can reach high temperatures quickly and damage the PP. However, the ice pack is not dishwasher or microwave safe, please remove before use.

 

What is the ice pack made from?

I have a carry cap bottle which I bought but I can no longer find the filters?

Unfortunately, the original bobble filters where you replace the filter and the cap have been discontinued. We hope to have some alternative in the near future.
